What do you want your legacy to be?

You might relate to one, some, or all of these. You might even have more you'd add to the list. The reason we started one, is we are launching a journey at Concord Pharmacy that we'd love you to join us on. We all have areas of life we want to conquer. We want to get better at some things, stop doing others, and make a positive impact on the world around us.

So if you are game, make sure you stay connected to us on facebook and here on our blog. We aren't totally sure how this will all play out...but the goal is to be the encouragement we all need.

We'll be here for you, and all of us for one another.

We'd like to encourage you to tip the scale in a different direction this season when it comes to being as healthy as you can be. So many people write off December as the month they have no control over, waiting for the resolutions January 1st might bring instead. Try this one tip to help you build some momentum towards the new year, feeling like a new you.

Develop 1 healthy habit,
and have 1 friend hold you accountable.

Whether it's walking more, eating healthier, getting better sleep, etc…we'd love you to do all of them for sure. But if you commit to doing one…you might surprise yourself as to how the others might just follow along. Enjoy this Holiday season.
Build some great momentum by taking a little better care of yourself, a little bit every day.

The fall season may be one of the biggest advantages you have to getting back on track with your exercise plan.

Have you ever found yourself ringing in the new year with that resolution to "get back at it", and into the gym? All that…only to find yourself back on the couch not wanting to move in short order because it's so cold and snowy out?

Here is a helpful tip. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE WEATHER IN THE FALL. The scenery is gorgeous, the weather cool but not too cold, and it helps you develop healthy habits before the tough holiday season is upon us. When we hit the holidays it's so easy to eat too much, sit too much and generally feel sluggish all the time.

Grab a friend and head out for a walk, jog or run this season…it may just set you up not to have to make a crazy new year's resolution you will cave on because you've already been crushing it for the past 3 months.

As always…talk to your physician about what you can/can't do based on your physical needs/limitations.
