1. Remove Stinger Immediately: Honey bees leave stinger in but wasps, yellow jackets and hornets do not. Use tweezers if you have them, or just your fingers if you don't. Just get that stinger out.
2. If Person Has Bee Sting Allergy: Use Epipen Autoinjector. If one is not available, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY! 3. For Non-Allergic Individuals: After removing stinger, use ice packs or antihistamines (ex. Benadryl) to relieve redness and swelling. 4. Other Important Things To Know: If victim has been stung 10 or more times, or stung in the throat, nose or mouth GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY!

3 things that keep us from taking better care of ourselves.We search and we search for the reasons why we aren't in better shape. We read, study and talk to friends about all the things that will make us look and feel the way we really want to. And along the way, we neglect to realize the amazing power we have to make an immediate impact on our lives.
Turn off the television. Get off the couch. Put down the phone. We are addicted to allowing TV to take our emotions to places that mask our pain. We are addicted to being lazy because we've had a long day and "we deserve it". We are addicted to gadgets and gizmos that distract us from our own reality. It isn't hard. We know it's the truth. And sometimes, we just need the reminder to get on with changing our habits through the encouragement of a trusted friend.
