We just found out about a cool event that is taking place both tonight (Wednesday, July 26) and August 30, 2017 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. They are calling it "An Evening in Barker Common".
It's being put on by the Fredonia Chamber of Commerce, and is being paired with the nights that there is music in the park as well. There will be food and activities in West Barker Common, along with the music. Take a walk with the family and help support our little village. Kudos to the Chamber leadership, mayor, and village board for events like this! Should be a really fun night! Congratulations on another fantastic school year! So much to be proud of academically, athletically, musically, artistically, and the list goes on and on!
Best of luck as you go through your finals. Finish strong! -Your friends at Concord Pharmacy We have an idea to help you jump-start your week with joy.
Spring break is over, but the fun you experienced in it doesn't have to be. Whether you travelled far away from home, or enjoyed the calm of a stay-cation in the comfort of your own home, here is the idea... Pick one thing you experienced over the past two weeks. Can you think of it? Great! If you are having trouble coming up with one, or narrowing it down to one, no worries. Spend a little time today and write down things as they come to mind. Once you have that one thing, ask yourself this question: What can I do to leverage what I experienced to bring joy to others? Finding genuine joy in serving others will give our week the jump-start we are looking for. It can be easy to come away from a vacation feeling like we wish it wasn't over. That's a pretty normal thing. But it doesn't have to be over. We can take what we experience, and leverage it to be a permanent part of our existence. What a joy that truly is. Have a FANTASTIC start to your week! Congratulations to the Fredonia Girls Varsity Basketball Team on your Far West Regionals win, and trip to the NYS Final Four!
You have made your families, school, and entire community so very proud. So many long hours of preparation have led you to this destination. Enjoy every ounce of it, because you have earned it! And one day, when you look back on Saturday, March 11th, 2017? It will forever be... The Day History Was Made! Congrats again! -Your friends at Concord Pharmacy It was a championship kind of Sunday!
Congratulations to the Fredonia High School Girls Varsity Basketball Team on winning the Section VI, B1 CHAMPIONSHIP! Congratulations to the Dunkirk/Fredonia Steelers Hockey Team on winning ANOTHER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! Hard work and teamwork sure make dreams come true! To all of the players, coaches, parents, and community that have supported these fantastic student-athletes...CONGRATULATIONS! The stories are different. The words are as well. Every time another word hits the #Conquer2017 wall, more encouragement is drawn from it. Seeing others tackling the same challenges as you is incredibly empowering and encouraging. Keep growing! Don't forget to stop in and add a word of your own.
What will you conquer in 2017? Join the movement of people that are saying it, writing it, and making progress on it. Be thankful for what you have.
Be hopeful for the joy to come. But most of all, be present in each moment. Every day is gift. How we choose to use it, is up to each one of us. We hope this is an encouragement to you, as you think about the week to come. -Your friends at Concord Pharmacy! The morning after you made history, the sun was shining down on the Dunkirk HS bell.
We can only imagine the joy you all shared as you rang it with a championship in hand. All of your hard work made this happen. We are very proud of you. -From your friends at Concord Pharmacy |
