We were thinking of selling rain ponchos.

Not because it's raining...although you could use them for that.

With the rate people are getting sick, we figure you might want one. Why? You know when someone sneezes in public and doesn't cover their face? Well...at least you can cover up.

But we think the alternative is better. (And Cheaper)

Go grab any school supply you can think of, and drop it off at Concord Pharmacy. When you do, we'll connect with a teacher in the Fredonia-Dunkirk area, who will in turn get the supplies in the hands of students in need.

Together...we can CONCORD IT!

We are so happy to be part of this tremendous community. Wherever you went you could see the FEEDING FREDONIA CHALLENGE signs in windows. Thank you to everyone at the Fredonia Presbyterian Church for coordinating this, the other businesses we were honored to be drop off sites with, and the many, many members of our community who brought in food. We truly are part of an amazing community! Have a great weekend knowing you made where we live a better place by taking care of one another!

5 things you can do to put pollen in it's place!

Every time one of those little clusters takes flight,
your allergies are in for a fight.
Here are a few tips to help you "CONCORD" your allergies!

Wipe and vacuum out the window sills of your home. If you don't, all the pollen will blow into your house and settle in to your carpet, couch cushions, and everything else you might nuzzle your head against. Sneezing yet?
Check the vent controls in your vehicle. Before you turn them on, have the setting so it recycles interior air only. If it is set to force outside air in, you are going to breathe in a whole lot of pollen. You'll be in your very own pollen shaker.
Shoes off at the door. If you are in the habit of wearing your shoes in your home, you are also becoming FootWest Airlines and letting pollen fly the friendly skies of your feet, landing right in your home.
Wear a dust mask when you mow your lawn. You'll look like a character from Star Wars, but you'll breath a whole lot easier when you aren't inhaling all the pollen whipping through the air.
