To all the graduates...
Wherever life takes you next, remember this one thing: As you toss your cap into the air to celebrate this day, and head into your future...THE SKY IS THE LIMIT. Put in the hard work, and pursue your passion. You have the ability to truly change the world. CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!!! -From your friends at Concord Pharmacy. In 2017 you will conquer ________________.
Who needs your encouragement today? Find them. Call them. Text them. Email them. Stop by & see them. Don't let the sun go down today before you reach out to them. It's one thing for all of us to feel like we are making progress. But if that's where we stop, we've missed the point...because it's not all about us. This is the year we conquer our fears, and walk with others as they do the very same thing. Together...we will #Conquer2017. To all the father's out there. You are the hero of our hearts, and lives. You sacrifice so much to take such great care of us. We hope all of the dads out there have an AMAZING FATHER'S DAY!
Congratulations on another fantastic school year! So much to be proud of academically, athletically, musically, artistically, and the list goes on and on!

High School Softball and Baseball playoffs are underway. Today is another big day on the schedule as many local teams will be taking to the diamond in hopes of advancing to the next game. For some that will end in joy, for others sadness as the season winds to a close.
As we were thinking about all of the hard work you have put into this season, something popped into our heads. The importance of looking back. See, it's not just this season that you are playing for today. It's all of the hours of learning how to throw and catch a ball. It's that patience you needed as you learned how to steady yourself to hit the ball off the tee for the very first time. So as you look forward to your games, remember this: Take a moment, pause, and look back at how far you've come. That way, the full measure of joy you deserve will be in full view today, win or lose. Win and move on. That's very exciting. Lose and the season ends. That's hard. But...if you allow yourself to look back at all of your hard work, progress, and relationships built, you'll see that it's prepared you so very well for what's coming next. Play ball. Have fun. And if your team doesn't advance today? We can't win every game we play, but we can learn from every moment along the way. We are proud of all of the area Softball and Baseball players, coaches, and their families. Enjoy today. Look back and remember. Be present and enjoy. Today is a special day. Soak up everything about it. Sincerely, Your Friends At Concord Pharmacy. Wherever the next turn in life takes you, it's been an honor that your journey included our community the past several years. As you pull away from campus today remembering your time here, know that we are extremely proud of all you have accomplished. Best of luck in your future! And...we'd love it if you stayed and made this little corner of the world your permanent home, too! :)
Take Care, Your friends at Concord Pharmacy. Many local baseball and softball teams have been rained out lately. Day after day...practices and games being stopped, or cancelled all together. All of it because of this crazy rainy weather!
And that got us to thinking... Cancellations can be inspiration rather than frustration. How? Get ahead on homework and studying. Get some extra sleep. Spend time with family, friends, and teammates. Wear a weather inspired rally cap! Do all of the above off the field, so when the weather breaks you're ready to hit one out of the park on the field! At the end of the day, make the most of every opportunity. This weather seems like a great reminder of that. Frustration OR inspiration. Make what seems like the set-back become a home run. Good luck to all of the area baseball and softball teams when you are able to get back on the diamond again. We're cheering for all of you. We love looking out our front window and seeing the fields full. We know that when the field is full, so is your heart...playing the game you love. Best of luck! -Your friends at Concord Pharmacy. We have an idea to help you jump-start your week with joy.
Spring break is over, but the fun you experienced in it doesn't have to be. Whether you travelled far away from home, or enjoyed the calm of a stay-cation in the comfort of your own home, here is the idea... Pick one thing you experienced over the past two weeks. Can you think of it? Great! If you are having trouble coming up with one, or narrowing it down to one, no worries. Spend a little time today and write down things as they come to mind. Once you have that one thing, ask yourself this question: What can I do to leverage what I experienced to bring joy to others? Finding genuine joy in serving others will give our week the jump-start we are looking for. It can be easy to come away from a vacation feeling like we wish it wasn't over. That's a pretty normal thing. But it doesn't have to be over. We can take what we experience, and leverage it to be a permanent part of our existence. What a joy that truly is. Have a FANTASTIC start to your week! |
